Hi, I'm Wendy Hoechstetter, recently transplanted back to my hometown from Mill Valley, CA (San Francisco Bay Area) after spending much more of my adult life there than here. 

A ton of information and pretty entertaining. :) I'm originally from San Antonio but live in L.A. now and looking to buy and hold in San Antonio.

This forum is not a place to discuss business its purely entertainment and I hate to say it Bigger Pockets is a place for people to get scammed.   

Joshua Dorkin and Brandon Turner have been educational and entertaining to say the least.

The listing agent is right in not entertaining your offer, as he'd simply be tying up the owner's property for60-90 days, preventing him from selling it to a real buyer, getting that much closer to an auction.  

A few suggestions:To avoid being accused of discrimination of one kind or another, you might want to give an application and a list of your acceptance criteria to each adult who sees the place.

You don't have to continue to risk your funds and your sanity aiding your adult child.  

They are both informative and entertaining.
