My First Post
Hello BP Members! Wanted to introduce myself and also ask for help. As you can see from my profile, I currently live in Germany (my husband is stationed here). We have several rental properties due to us living and purchasing our homes in various places (as it is said: "Home is Where the Army Sends You")!
Request for "help". Our daughter lives in Manhattan and is looking for a place to purchase - either a condo or co-op. Those of you who are familiar with NYC know how crazy real estate is, so we definitely need help. Her budget is $300k (or lower). Areas of interest include: Upper West Side all the way to Morningside Heights; Brooklyn -- Astoria, Williamsburg, Park Slope, Prospect Park and Bay Ridge (if not too far south). I understand that some of the areas are "up and coming", but she is in her mid-twenties and currently needs a safe area.
Thanks!
