I don't mind if a tenant works from home as long as that work does not create any strain whatsoever to maintenance of the property, or cause inconvenience, noise, and liability to anyone else.For example, buying and selling stuff, requiring UPS or FedEx multiple times a day for pick up, drop off, sometimes many packages on doorsteps; running a misery, conducting a yoga class, hair and nail, pet grooming, are all going to have frequent visitors that may park in neighbor's parking spaces, and you might be liable if a dog being groomed in unit C bit a baby being dropped off for baby sitting in unit B.  

(School fees, traffic fees, etc. liability insurance, etc.)Is he a working contractor that will be out on the job everyday pounding nails himself with employees or ?

Key to getting started is not biting off more than you can chew, don't BS yourself, segregate duties, put people in that can do what you can't, learn to manage, not drive nails, that's a skill.

Granted few deals are in need of a very fast closing, but when one comes up, how fast you get the money is the difference between an extra bonus paycheck or a lost deal.Going back to the OP deal, Jay hit the nail on the head -- a portal who had no idea what they were doing in a market they don't understand.

When I call the office about the fine, I also mention the A/C, and the manager in the office tells me that one of the siding guys put a nail through the freon line and they're going to repair it.
