Some sections of the water pipes have been replaced with copper, some with PVC, a lot are still galvanized steel. there is plenty of cloth wiring in the building, but at least some of the outlets have modern wiring pulled.

Examples:-early slab construction-earlier-style cloth-wrapped electrical wiring without grounds-Often some questionable sheathing practices-Plumbing materials in transition (still mostly cast iron drains but changes to supply piping)-Lower-grade trim used inside and out.No knob and tube but plan for a complete electrical rewire anyway.

I saw this with my properties in the deed south.. power hooked up via cloths hanger direct to the power line and meter.. or just steal someone else meter and swap it out.. water meters by passed snip the line go right around the meter.
