For the reserves to replace components a decade or two out, I was hoping to get us into some exposure into an index fund (total bond, total stock, SP 500) or something but left the board before I could convince folks.

While I’m happy to share lots of information with folks it’s very rare that I will give out information like my primary contractor’s name or the names of any of his subs because I keep them busy full time and am not willing to lose my own time with them to someone else.

Sounds like I should spend a lot of time talking to folks to make sure I have the best team possible, which makes total sense.

No I'm not in NC but have some folks in Charlotte that would handle the showings for me.

Lots of turn-over with folks leaving the state or buying homes though.

The area is not as developed as Oregon though as the big money Seattle folks pretty much stick to Puget sound real estate and forego ocean front or view.
