-natural maple cabinets will look good even after being banged up a bit-quartz or solid state countertops are durable and relatively cheap-refinishing wood floors and tile in kitchen and bathroom, no vinyl or carpet-tile shower, no plastic surround-pedestal bathroom sink, vanities tend to get water-damaged and gross-grey walls, white trim, white ceilings-I have never had stainless appliances myself, do you think they last as long as white before they look worn?

If you're doing a lot of units, and I'm assuming these are existing, I would use an eggshell finish for durability in the units themselves.

This is much more durable than site painted siding and comes with a 30 yr warranty on the paint.

I sanded a little between the paint coats, partially because there was a little debris on the 1st door (my fault) and the 2nd I kept scratching it every 12hrs to test its durability, lol
