There are plenty here on BP that donate their time and knowledge for free. 

I was given a property some years back as a donation. 

I bookmarked it and look forward to updates in the future as well as donating. 

Tenants always paid their portion (which changes often from pregnancy, job placement or loss) Biggest problem I had was them basically leaving all their belongings and moving to Georgia ( they didn't have a car, took a bus) I got a few new bikes, 2 xbox's, powerwheels, razor scooter and a big tax donation to goodwill from 30 trashbags of clothes haha

Universities are largely money vacuums (hence the explosion of worthless and easy majors) so it makes complete sense that the school would work with the local government to driveup the cost of private housing.I'm so glad I've never made an alumni donation to that school.BTW around 1993 a book store opened up next to the school offering cheaper textbooks and higher resale values.

I tried to donate it to Home for Our Troops and Home for Our Heroes, but when they went in, they didn't want to tackle that project.

The other good one is the "free" offer of something, but you pay a small shipping and handling charge (or a $1 donation to charity as I recently pointed out in a podcast).

I just try to join in on the forum fun or help from time to time :) that's why I have my charity at the bottom of my page …. at this stage its all about supporting our heros and joining forces with others on BP that donate to this charity so we can give a home to a true hero .. one of our first responders.. 

They don't have a lot of money and are hoping someone may be willing to donate a couple nights in a mountain cabin somewhere near Salem.
