Vegas has been ravaged by CV since it is a tourist destination.

The Domain "area" has the only "Der Wienerschnitzel" Hot Dog place in Austin, and a Top Golf.I wouldn't call it second downtown "yet", but it certainly is a destination if you have some "upscale" money to spend.They have a lot of nice mid-scale $$$ restaurants to choose from.

Areas I am extremely interested in are Sevierville/Gatlinburg region, but also know the Gulf Shores/Destin region very well too (I was stationed there before during flight school).

Travel destinations?

Although we want a place convenient for us, we don't want to ignore the financial calculus, as this is meant to be a profitable springboard to more real estate investments..Hilton Head Island and Myrtle Beach are interesting as beach destinations which don't typically receive hurricane activity, but do get considerable tourist traffic.

US travelers who would have normally been traveling aboard or to destination US cities are now looking for safe, less dense vacation spots that have amenities that are still open. 

I am looking for guidance and there is not only one set path, there are many roads to a destination.
