I’ve called the county office that handles the sale several times to get more info about wether the tax sale wipes out existing liens or if the county even notifies the lien holders, to no avail.

vis a vi the discount offered for full service loans.you OK with the fires are you in Sonoma county/  I am watching the fire maps and man that is going through all my old stomping grounds especially hwy 29 from Calistoga to Middle town.. there is OLD growth forest up there in the palisades and Robert Luis Stevenson Park my first recollections of driving that road were in the mid 60s..

@Nicholas BolconSeller financing could work, but the seller would need to have sufficient funds (eg to afford wherever she is going next which I assume is above ground, pay off the current loan, etc).The issue is the EPA holds the current Title holder liable for the environmental cleanup/impacts.
