For example a dated kitchen with walls yellow from cigarette smoke and a 60 year old oven is fine, a kitchen that you can't cook food in is not fine -- even if it is otherwise modern, new, and clean.

The property is in south FL and the broader area has seen a few large companies move in over the last few years, and housing values have gone up substantially.I guess I'm just suspicious about whether we really found something good or if there is something about getting into Commercial Office space (ie, trend toward home offices, technology changes, rent-a-suite places, etc..) that we are missing.

Since the only things I have seen so far that weren't holding up are those they have been done in the last decade, I would have to lean way towards the 93 yr old parts being much safer than the 13 yr old crap.Of course, I had to mention the whole part about it being a fire trap, which seems to be what helped burn Chicago down back in the day, But with modern tech, that shouldn't be as worrisome as back then.Anyone with anything you think I should know, need to , or what to know about balloon framed houses.
