Not having enough closet space for two people to use, is a major inconvenience and a deal breaker for more people than the size of the bathroom as long as its updated.  

If so, help me short circuit the norms and make my pockets bigger long term.

What if you changed the breaker to that room to a smaller one that would power everything except maybe when a AC unit?

Circuit board equipment (electro-mechanical and electronic vs. mechanical).Aside from the more complicated (expensive) for repairs aspect, there is the surge protection issue to deal with.So with the selection of mechanical controlled Washers, Dryers, Stoves, Refrigerators, ect… on the market dwindling, and getting replaced by circuit board type appliances I was wondering if you are doing anything to protect (your investment in) major electronic appliances from electrical surges.Whole house protectors, surge strips, surge breakers in the box?

Campus USA said that the home has to be liveable which is a deal breaker for me.
