@Jillian Sidoti I believe donations. they used examples such as instead of buying physical wedding gifts or baby gifts, to just donate to their home funding page instead.

(Yes, I realize that sounds like a weak reason as I type it -- but neither of us ever wanted a wedding and being married wouldn't change much for us beyond tax filing status, so it wasn't a high priority on our list.

I just got married and have a couple grand worth of cash and a couple checks from people as wedding gifts.I would like to get financing within the next 6 months or so for a rental property and was wondering if these cash and check deposits will cause any problems.Does anyone have experience with this?
