I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and lived in Seattle for 10 years before moving south.

The Pacific NW is a great place to invest in vacation rentals!

The average home here in Pacific Beach is over $1M and the market is very competitive.

Our company has been flipping homes in Hawaii for over 10 years and we are expanding to the Pacific Northwest to find multi-family units as long-term buy and holds; as well as, residential flips.  

Sounds like someone needs to watch Pacific Heights. 

One of them is focused on the Pacific Northwest and the other focuses on the metal of the country, so there is some geographic diversity affect there, if you own both funds.

While I don't know anything about your market, I know the Pacific NW is very pricy.

I moved here from Pacific Beach in San Diego to do this if anyone ever questions my resolve.
