Its not that I don't love my job, its that between politics and culture the job is almost impossible now.

This also builds a culture that "The Boss" is charitable, he isn't a "greedy investor like those other sob's" which is exactly what they think, they all do, tenants included, I go all Sun-Tzu and use that to my advantage. 

Whatever course you decide to take in life, the result you get out of that decision will be in direct proportion to the energy and effort you put into the decision you make.I went to a 4 year public university, UCLA, that at the time I went, was a great bargain, graduating in 5 years with only $5k in student debt.One advantage to going to school is that you will be exposed to many different ideas and people and cultures from all over the world, and you'll learn from them.

Texas is a big place, so the answer varies based on location and cultural practices. 

Outside of the NYC option would be focusing on Places in New York State honestly would rather locations in the midwest as that's where I grew up and know the sense of the culture to weather many storms. 

Look at any other major metro that has a similar make up of industry/ culture/ legislation.

Now, since East Austin is open to investment, it has become more desirable as you are very close to downtown Austin and it also has become it's own little culture in Austin.  

One big hurdle is financing; she has talked to Irish banks, who won't give her a mortgage because she a US resident.
