Any areas to look into for buying a property to live in then rent
Hi Austin friends,
I am now thinking of moving to Austin but was thinking of either renting or buying a property to live in then rent out.
I was looking to have fun and live (rent) near downtown or the domain but maybe the more logical and financial idea to buy a place and then rent out. I was thinking the North area. I know the big thing is property taxes here.
Thank you all!

@Eric Long maybe 15-20 yrs ago that was true but the last 10 yrs has really changes E Austin. It is a millennial hub and a lot of my younger clients from CA that have moved here enjoy living there
