Looking to Move and Invest in Rhode Island

(and when Rhode Islanders say "south county" they really mean "Washington County" - see all of the RI counties)So I guess it's good if you guys are going to rent before you figure out where you want to put down roots - after you settle in and start to adopt the Rhode Island mentality (20 minutes away = TOO FAR), you might find Westerly starts to seem like a haul depending on where she gets work and you find properties.Anyway, welcome to Rhode Island.Oh and if it's cold and the sky is in any way cloudy, immediately go to the supermarket and stock up on bread and milk.

Closing some of my credit cards makes sense to me. Am I correct?

So what I do first is go to my area's largest chain supermarket, Giant Eagle, and buy a gift card for Giant Eagle Supermarkets.I pay for the Giant Eagle gift card with the Barclays Mastercard, accruing their travel miles in their frequent flyer program (American offers the most flights out of Pittsburgh).I also link the purchase to my Giant Eagle rewards account, which offers me cheaper prices on gasoline at the many GetGo gas stations Giant Eagle runs all over my area. The next step is to use the Giant Eagle gift card to buy a Home Depot gift card at another or the same Giant Eagle, which means that the same purchase eventually gives me double fuel rewards (you cannot use a Giant Eagle gift card to buy another Giant Eagle gift card or of course that's what I'd be doing, again and again, until they'd be paying me to pump gas at their stations). Finally, I use the Home Depot gift card at Home Depot to buy the stuff I need.Understand, you need iron financial discipline with credit cards to run these kinds of travel and rewards hacking schemes, or sooner or later, you're going to be spending with no sure way of paying them back ON TIME EVERY TIME.

My mom still tells the story of when my elementary school class was taken to the supermarket for a field trip (why we went there, who knows), and I was what the square footage was, LOL.

These salesmen, like my fellow engineers later in my life, just couldn't understand my father's reasoning. To show how limited some college faculty members are, I stumbled upon Think and Grow Rich in the supermarket one day and asked one of my business professors about it.

Do I have to let go of my integrity to be successful?
7 January 2019 | 61 replies
Unless you think that the supermarkets where we buy our food don't do things like put wheat products on their shelves that include sawdust fillers, the gas stations never doctor their pumps to register a full gallon every .97 gallons, the waiters have never spit in anyone's food, the pharmacies are always giving you your medicines at a fair price, the public school teachers who care for our children are all passionate professionals instead of CYA pension-seekers, and of course that we have statesmen in political office with clean hands and clear hearts and pure thoughts running through their heads every moment of the day...All the hysterical protestations and declarations of extraordinary personal integrity here seem a bit overdone here, don't they?

If the zombie apocalypse ever happens, those with indoor chickens will get to enjoy eggs for breakfast when the supermarkets run out of food.I agree with the other posts that the issue here is not about the animals, but about a human lying about the animals.
