Yep, just take a look at the bottom right hand corner of your screen and you'll see the Chat box (If not, click the chat icon next to your photo on the top right.) 

@Thomas Franklin, if you go to your list of Colleagues, there is a trash can icon next to every name.

However, when I am logged in and go to my "chat" option I cannot see the message nor can I make the "red 1" go away over my chat icon. 

Martin , your first 2 steps can be consolidated into simply clicking on the house icon on the left side of the blue navigation bar.

So the way I explain it is if you came over you do exactly what you are doing now, in addition to commission, you will earn stocks, can buy shares at a discount from commission check, and you have the potential to earn back your cap in stock if you reach ICON status.
