In 2021 there were two competing ballot measures that the citizens of Denver voted on - one measure from open-space advocates that would "keep status quo" and continue to prevent WIP from developing this parcel, the second measure sponsored by the WIP themselves that would exempt the property from the current zoning restrictions.
