And I like the idea of bigger scale developments, and am going to educate myself here.Maybe a better initial question would have been something like this: Many/most cities/towns in Oregon now (by law) allow you to build three doors on any SFR lot (duplex, plus ADU).

Far better than anything you could have done in a stock fund or just about any other real estate investment.As someone who once had 83 sfh rentals in middle class american towns here in illinois, these str's here are without a doubt far better investments.

I know Branson is known for golf and Table Rock Lake and people tend to snatch up those condos that come with the amenities but I feel like rentals would be limited to good weather only..there has to be a solid percentage of tourists that enjoy the shows and being in town as much as there are people that enjoy the lake and golfing.

There are a couple of towns with lower opportunities, but low appreciation.You can't close in an LLC and assume or do an owner-occupied loan.
