I do remember 15 years ago vacuuming the lobby of our computer store.

The dirt and debris needs to be swept and vacuumed from the sump (pan).

Well An American Piloted jet liner and some of the better european ones and Quantas and Singapore airlines along with Cathey.. :)  you get the point though.. not common. tenants have no money to sue you generally speaking

How much of an impact that is will depend on dates and values etc, but that's something to evaluate later...This all sounds good in a vacuum, but obviously the details will change how feasible or effective this is for you...

So we (Tax Pros) will need to advise our clients on the benefits of taking the 20% QBI compared to the risk from exposure that 20% deduction might create... because many will derive from the above statement that basic landlord duties fall within the definition provided above (collecting rent, qualifying tenants, bookkeeping, etc.) and I'd be hard pressed to disagree with them in a vacuum... but .... the exposure.....
