Since they have been good tenants, I would inform them 45-60 days in advance that I do not intent to renew their lease because the dogs are disruptive to the neighbors.

I cannot find any local laws or regulation on this subject, and I am sympathetic to the disruption this will cause to the tenants' lives - I wouldn't want to have to pack up and move out of my house for three days while it was filled with poison gas!
