@Nancy Larcom You are definitely correct that any strategy can work if you have the right combination of knowledge & discipline.

You're going to have to be financially disciplined by budgeting, saving money every month, and earn a consistent income. 

For liquid investments, I feel like I can be disciplined to both buy AND sell at the right value.  

Fix you lifestyle and have a discipline.

Not a downer at all, we have to be disciplined on how we think as investors.

You need to be very disciplined with how you use those funds also.
