I work for New Western Acquisitions and its been such an amazing experience learning the in's and out's about Investment Real Estate. I started my career in Real Estate not that long ago and like every new sales agent- its a grind making connections and finding investment partners to work with. I finally had my first sell this week and I followed that by selling my second property on the same day- I was truly happy and excited. I felt nervous solely because it was un trotted territory, but the day after I realized- I can do this!

I put my head down and studied, I asked questions, got familiar with the rehab prices, neighborhoods, made local connections, and really leaned on my team for support. Now I realize I have to work on being consistent, not giving up when I do not perform to my expectations, not having expectations- just putting in the work and letting it speak for itself.  I learned to not be too hard on myself when I don't cross everything off from my to do list that same day because, it will happen. Keep focus on the bigger picture of what I want my career to look like and treat my clients business like if it was my own.

I am super excited and driven to keep going- any other input around keeping my business consistent is appreciated...

Congrats on your first 2 sales, Ruby!  On the same day?  Often what we sow comes to harvest in waves.

When I was working and hunting for new deals, what kept me motivated and consistent was my why.  After asking myself why am I doing this 7 times, it essentially came down to freedom from.  Freedom from my strict upbringing, the military discipline, school rules and grades, corporate bossman.

It also comes down to what you invest into your venture.  I moved 3 states away into a trailer park.  Wasn't going to quit easily.

Now it's freedom to and figuring out what that looks like.  i am building my time bucket lists, honing in on my NW peak year, establishing how we want to give and transfer wealth during our lifetimes, etc.

It's a fun ride.  Success like you just experienced will keep you motivated and consistent. A strong why will give you staying power when in the valley. Intentionally align your mission, vision and purpose.
