However, I could tell that it really grated on my co-worker's nerves, so in the interest of keeping the cube farm happy, I would do my phone calls in a vacant conference room and stuff.My co-worker liked to tell people at work that I barely knew that I was a slumlord, so my infrequent conversations with some people were a back pedaling of "my rentals are nicer than my house" (which is totally true, by the way).
