20 years old buying first investment property

I have been having crazy dreams lately asking my self if I could really pull off buying an investment property at 20 years old. I am still in college. I don't have that much in assets and my credit is fair. I just want to know if I could really make this a reality.

Tyler, you can absolutely make this a reality. I'm 19 and I am also currently looking into buying my first investment property. It's a little nerve racking but that doesn't mean it's impossible! Besides, when it comes to investing, the sooner you learn how to invest, the better. The key to investing in real estate is time. I'm sure there are many people who wish they could have gotten started at 20. People tell me all the time that I'm thinking way ahead of most people my age!

Most of my friends don't understand why I've got my mind set on doing this, but that's okay. I believe that God gives us dreams for a reason. If you have a strong feeling that you need to do something, then always listen to that feeling! My parents are real estate investors and I've been lucky enough to learn from them the importance of trusting your gut with decisions like this. Never ever doubt your own capability to make something happen, and don't listen to anyone who tries to tell you that anything is impossible. You can do this as long as you stay confident in yourself, you make educated decisions, and you have a little patience.
