I would make certain I followed proper security deposit procedures, documenting everything showing you used the whole security deposit in back rent and damages, then send it certified mail in a timely manner to his last known address, even if it is that unit.

I have never experienced this so I don't know the exact procedure, but in this day and age I would think that this could be reversed and corrected with a little effort from everyone involved.Good Luck and keep us posted.Ed

@Deanna McCormickI totally agree there is a difference. the reason my idea works is because all my properties are in a single area and most of the setup is the same so problems can be fixed by some kind of standard procedure.

Once notified from the agent regarding the highest and best offer, we were told to sign the "multiple offer procedure form" and return that VIA EMAIL with any changes to offer.So we did raise the offer....
