I am currently an accidental land-lord in Pensacola (Pace), Florida after I was forced to move and couldn't sell my primary residence. 

I can imagine a seller saying, "Oh good lord, this guy can't qualify to get a regular mortgage and has to go to one of those loan sharks to get a loan.

Hi, I'm trying to see if there is a method or tip for finding burned out land lords?

@Brad HammondI've seen a couple things pop up that could be interesting and I see that, on Craigslist, there tends to be a lot of people seeking rentals and not as many postings (in particular areas).

Hey Brad, I own a bunch of rentals in KCMO- nothing in that specific area but I too have been investigating that specific area and here are my quick thoughts. 

She's looking to sell because she's elderly and tired of being a land lord.  

Since I am a new to land lording, I try to ask a lot of questions before, after and especially when I get into things.  

Thank the Lord that the school lets her payoff each semester "loan" of in three payments.  

I have read a little about land lording in Ontario, and had assumed that my options were limited as you have confirmed.I suppose we will slowly raise his rents as the years go on.Would you have any suggestions as to how to convince a current tenant to sign a new lease?
