Also, when residing outside of Orlando, it would be advisable to take the service of a property manager or there are mixed options that can take care of the publications / reservations and hire a cleaning / maintenance service.

How would you advise it to be structured? 

Besides, the € has been fairly stable against the $ over the last few years and that could continue if the FED and the ECB follow similar monetary policies, as the market likely believes.

@Alec Bildstein my advise in addition to attending meetups is to read the forums and see who contributes and adds value and find the folks that you resonate with.

I would also advise that you work with people who already have their own investment properties. 

My initial idea was 10-20% down with 7% interest rate for 10 or 15 years after doing research. 1 person suggested a balloon at the end and another person advised against it. 

I pay an attorney their value to write these private lending contracts for me, and advise me.
