The only difference is 2 bedroom has great view as it is on top floor.I am a downtown guy, love the energy and the excellent food and clubs around.

And I travelled the country for 10 years w/o and then w/ kids so agreed - well stocked is really nice if it's large parties... for us working travelers I just wanted cleanliness - rather have clean and sparse than hairs/food/trash left behind and it's stocked to the hilt

Food is up , materials are up , etc .

I've read conflicting information about what triggers you to have to pay self-employment tax on your short-term rentals.There seems to be a consensus that the following does:Airport TransportationProviding cooked mealsOffering ToursCleaning during the guests' stayDecorating the property for a party as a serviceI'm not sure if these would cause me to have to pay self-employment taxes, as I've seen these items on a couple of lists but not most:Providing a coffee stationProviding a welcome basket with food itemsProviding bikes and kayaks for the guests to useDoes anyone know where the line is of what you can and cannot do and provide?

You can't walk into a restaurant and just say, "I'm really hungry" and expect them to give you free food.

If you don't mind dealing with calls about one tenant eating another's food or making a mess, then it could be a profitable decision.

@Matiullah Quraishi dishwashers with food grinders might save you some maintenance.

If it is really messy with food and trash around, you may want to check ducts for rats, mice, and other pests.Good luck!

We are purchasing a single family home that needs rehab on a busy street with a commercial lot across the street with grocery store etc, to the right of the home are tall bush like trees that create a nice barrier but then there is a vacant lot and then a fast food location.
