Rehab as a single family or as business offices?
We are purchasing a single family home that needs rehab on a busy street with a commercial lot across the street with grocery store etc, to the right of the home are tall bush like trees that create a nice barrier but then there is a vacant lot and then a fast food location. To the left of the home the property has already been converted to a business offices (although it looks just like a home on the outside). We are debating if we should just rehab as a single family long term hold or if we should transition to a business office rental. Can anyone share some of their insights... does one perform better than the other...are there specifics I should consider?
Thanks for your help!
