Austin downtown high rise apt
I am planning to buy a apartment in a building that has 40 floors and there are 2 of them available, 1 & 2 bedrooms. From cash flow perspective they both support, I am not able to decide between 1 or 2 bedroom. The only difference is 2 bedroom has great view as it is on top floor.
I am a downtown guy, love the energy and the excellent food and clubs around. I might live in there once my kid goes to college. I also believe it’s a good investment from growth and cash flow.
Your thoughts much appreciated.

@Mohan Kurraa from a resale perspective, you'll have an easier time selling a 2-bedroom unit versus a 1-bedroom. I'll be shocked if you can actually get much cash flow out of them (unless you are putting 50%+ down payment) once you factor in the taxes and high HOA fees but sounds like this is more of a lifestyle choice. Downtown Austin does have a lot to offer!
