Is there a way to leverage a refinance with a traditional 30yr fix, ARM, or another product that will allow us to purchase with another jumbo loan at our destination?

Sometimes it's not the destination it's the journey.

Questions:o  Would you go ahead and deduct the mileage and take the "Standard Meals Allowance" for the destination zip code?

I was working in a local organic produce store in Paris, France, probably destined for a long, monotone, boring life when I went on a roadtrip in California in 2016 that would change my life.

I am trying to decide between a condo or beach house as a vacation destination STR on the Texas coast or a duplex in Centeal Texas with long term tenants.

One bright spot in all this is people will still take their vacation in a house when this is over vs travel abroad, cruises, hotels and airlines so that should give drivable destinations a boost this year assuming we get back by end of May.

Northeast GA is a drive-to destination but with the ban & unsure of when it may be lifted we are thinking of switching to a long-term rental to cover our mortgage during the crisis.Looking for some advice on if this is the right move.Should we do 3, 6 month, or year lease? 

Are people going to enjoy their vacation closer to home, driving destination, domestically instead of going somewhere abroad (cruises will be out of question I assume..)..how will the crises affect Snow Birds? 

Especially if you're near often sold out destinations or major metro areas.
