They've just been slow to catch up to the STR changeover from someone crashing on your couch to full-on short-term rental only properties that are essentially a boutique hotel.

Shawn Couch I haven't had to evict anyone yet, I did have a tenant that I almost ended up evicting but he ended up leaving on his own.

From my own personal experience, mattresses, couches and bed frames are worth extra money.

It's part of the business however you will also have years where you sit on the couch, everyone pays on time and you have no vacancy or repairs.
