Looking to invest in 50K houses to rent.

I am an overseas investor, looking for a good city to invest in rental properties.

I want to start with a small investment (50K+-) and I heard about Dayton, Ohio and Detroit, Michigan.

I will really appreciate opinion about both places. ALSO OPEN TO HEAR OTHER OPTIONS!!

@Daniel Fridrij This is the type of investing I cut my teeth on. I invested in the Beaumont, Texas area and most of my houses were under $50k and rented out for $800-1,000 a month. And you absolutely CAN make money doing it, however it is VERY hands on. No property manager is going to do the job that needs done for $60/month. I wouldn't suggest it for an out of state or especially an overseas investor. Find a way to leverage your capital and buy nicer houses in better markets.
