One notable exception was an episode of HBO’s Silicon Valley, where the hapless Jared has tried for over a year to evict a nonpaying “professional tenant” who is currently subleasing Jared’s unit through Airbnb because California’s landlord/tenant laws are so biased in favor of the tenant that an eviction can take close to an eternity.

Keep in mind Steve on a straight sub to .. title has transferred there is no security instrument in favor of the original seller that allows them to foreclose.. there can be an agreement to deed it back etc.. but Bent individuals dont also do what they agree to do.

Please do yourself a favor and get that FPE panel replaced immediately, it may appear to be working perfectly for now and there are a lot of FPE panels still in use that haven't caused fires (yet) but just want to make sure you know what you're dealing with: trust me those things are ticking time bombs.

The appraisers I've seen at work always measure the exterior of the finished building, i.e. the outside of the stucco or brick...Maybe someone else measured the interior rooms as @Chris Seveney said, and now you have 2 numbers floating around.It actually could be in your favor if you can get the seller to use the same square footage number and apply it to the smaller SF.... :-)
