Hello,I'm pretty new to the wholesaling business, after driving for dollars and identifying some properties, single family, duplex through fourplexes I look up the tax payer's name and address through our county tax assessment site, after compiling my list I discovered a couple of the property owners are currently licensed Real estate agents, have any of you ran into issues mailing to agents?

DFW is a competitive hot market, hope you try to compile better lists to get more responses because buying lists in hot market means someone else is probably mailing to the same list so your letters need to stand out and have good brand building for your biz.

Just last week (over 2 months after the meeting, and after multiple landscaper bids were compiled), all the owners received a letter from the HOA board saying the current landscaper's contract is until 2020, and there's an $8000 early termination fee.

Using the internet or going to town hall, get the addresses of the owners and mail them a simple letter telling them you buy properties.This self compiled list is a much better target and you only end up mailing 100 or so very good targets instead of wasting money mailing regular homeowners who will never discount their properties.Make sense?
