In CA or western states under Spanish law a Title Insurance is mandatory.

Nonetheless, the impression I get is there are a lot of synergies with note investing and his day job, so he's probably able to make it work easier than someone who's not involved in real estate at all.

I am 29 years old and I also speak Spanish. 

I've found Franklin Synergy to be the most willing and able in working with real estate investors, but word is that things are starting to slow down over there so I'm not sure if they are still as aggressive as they once were.
