@Zachary Peacock - I think you'll be in for a real rude awakening if you expect property in the Portland area to triple in value in 5-7 years.I've driven through that area exactly twice and both times I found myself asking "this is it?"

His weirdly religious final chapters... the fact that most of his later books are chapter-for-chapter plagiarisms of his earlier books.... the fact that he keeps popping up in different RE businesses with weird homebrew web sites every few years... but I have to love him for empowering me to understand the business.By the way if you like Berges you would probably also like Dave Lindahl.

I think that he just wanted me in to pay the mortgage until he gets out of this..i have really brought the house back from the dead.it was empty for 6 months before i moved in.Empty green pool overgrown,,dirty inside no power water etc..anyone here knows the condition im talking about.Its in great condition now..i was going to continue to fix other things but my enthusiasm has waned.i pay religiously the 1st and no later every month for over a year im the tenant everyone wishes for..Really..Im not reaching out for a rental offer LOL its just the truth. i guess im kinda venting. but your reassurance helps a lot thanks.In my survey after i signed up i said that i feel good knowing that in my learning and investment future i wont be out there alone..i was right.

The Private lender that I selected for this deal claimed that he is always willing to close church deals as long as the income was strong and the borrower had reserves and if need be they would look at additional guarantors .Well I figured this was an easy match until the lender began to speak on the conference call and made a ton of insensitive remarks, a few religious jokes gone wrong and even an ill timed reference to pornography.

If they slow a house closing over a lien and they lose they could be in for a rude awakening if you can prove you were harmed, which you can.
