I didn't know Neighborhood Scout had that free info, and it looks like the areas I'm concerned about are actually lower crime than the other residential areas, so that's a surprise.

I usually reference neighborhood scout for crime maps that are pretty accurate but finding the right duplex will depend on many factors like @Paul De Luca mentioned :)
