I had them give me a quote for one window replacement and Lowes was 3 times more expensive than anywhere else and HD was almost 4 times as much.

Check the condition of the roof, siding, windows, pavement, lawn, deck, porch, driveway, garage door.....walls, floors, light fixtures, switches, outlets, furnace, AC, pipes, stairs...

I left a note but was hoping to find out where they are now since the house looks completely abandoned (boarded up windows) and there is no mailbox.

It’s a 50 year old building and was left unoccupied for years but still it’s doors, windows and all other wooden works remain in a good condition but the problem is with the bathrooms and kitchen.

They also have various home improvements (replacement windows, repairs to rotted truss in roof, bracing, new decking and shingles in the area among other things) that have no permits.

Most of the demo has been completed, all windows replaced and the home was re leveled.

Did you actually go inside or did you just guess at repairs from peeking in windows?

We bought our first rental property in March of 2015 and it needed some rehab work that we did ourselves (siding, window replacement, kitchen remodel, refinished hardwoods) and finally had it ready to rent out in July of 2015.
