Seems like an old thread but I'll be in town and wanted to see if any Sioux Falls investors wanted to meetup Nov. 3rd (2017) over lunch/dinner/breakfast(early morning Nov. 4th). 

But with just the dial knobs and no electronic components it’s very easy for a repairman to fix things when they break and I had 4 sets of these in 2 different bed and breakfasts that did at least 1000 loads apiece per year and lasted for 18 years+ apiece with no problems.

I owned Bed and Breakfasts for 24 years and burned out on the vacation market and will likely never do a STR ever again.

It's under "IMPACT Lindale" on Facebook, I think.Yes there are two IMPACT groups in East Texas, IMPACT Lindale/Tyler and IMPACT Longview The Lindale Tyler group typically meets the first Tuesday of the Month at Brisket Love just North of I-20 on 849 near Hideaway, they also have a Saturday breakfast and Investment Property tour once a Month on a Saturday.The Longview group meets the 2nd Monday near the Longview Airport (South Longview).Both IMPACT's have a Facebook presents in Groups and also on Meetup com

Good luck with that as it has to be a bed and breakfast which means you must be living there.

I would only consider being in areas that already are well stocked with bed and breakfasts as well as vacation rentals and perhaps hotels.

Sort of a bed & breakfast idea with two sources of cash flow.

He mentioned he's been hearing from the Bed & Breakfast owners for years about how unfair it is they have to pay commercial rates and STR owners don't.
