She can usually light up a room and talk to anyone when she walks in.While she is gone I am taking off the interior door knobs and adding French style so she can just press down instead of twist with her hand as the arthritis makes it hard.

I'd suck it up and get a couple more cabinets to put over one and get a coordinating fridge (Don't have to go nuts with a $2,500 French door one with the bottom freezer and all the fancy stuff.
