Tulum has significant plans for the future, and many Mexican politicians and private sector players believe that it will surpass Playa del Carmen.Overall I believe specific locations in Mexico are great investment opportunities, as the world splits into east and west, bringing production closer to home is becoming a priority for major Western economies.

I am very familiar with the different neighborhoods (North end, South End, West End, Downtown).

I would focus on areas up north like Linden and areas on the west side of Columbus, like Franklinton and Hilltop. 

This is the Old West End, a historical district in Toledo that has a very strict HOA/Historical Protection group that basically forbids you to use most modern building materials.

The east and the west side are a little run down, but I don't expect that to be the case forever.
