I'm under a tourist visa in process of adjustment of status.

I'm looking to buy a property as a fhb the property is in a tourist town and is small but we get reliable renters. main house 3br and a detached 1br 1bath mother inlaw home on the property.

Regardless, the location Landmark & Shirlington are NOT near (walkable) to ANY metro--so you are very unlikely going to get tourists who will unlikely have a car and mainly want to get into DC easily.

I see potential but im having a hard time accounting for vacancy rates. obviously summer time is busy, but my concern is if the high season offsets the low season enough to be worth while. anyone else have propertiesin a similar, tourist market with large swings in demand that have tried airbnb or similar sites?
