Hi guys to expand on this ,with a duplex do you have a guy come around to do snow removal/ shoveling   In the wintertime .  

I was also curious about chores, specifically shoveling snow as I won't have any shared space with the tenants.

The only lending going on is from the GSE's, but that is only because they are mandated to shovel all the crap loans on their books, until at some point they either get bailed out with more tax money or default...

I want my personal property safe from a tenant's guest who sues because they slipped in the driveway that the tenant didn't shovel but feels it is my fault for not reminding them every time it snows that it is their duty.

When asking, there is never any obligation to answer those questions, and digging ditches with a shovel has always been more productive than with  a spoon.  

It's about 20 minutes of work to shovel it off.This guy just doesn't get it.

My parents ran a very profitable rental business for over 40 years,, they were meat and potato style apartments that were always full, they did all their own work, mowing, shoveling, painting, court filing, rent collecting and bookkeeping..

It snowed and we shoveled the walk but the alley adjacent to it, we did not.
