Your partner that has time and knowledge but no money is out there heck I know a few but it is a relationship that requires trust and trust takes time and 1 on 1 interaction to build. 

Good Morning/Afternoon/Night Fellow Investors,I am new to Biggerpockets and am very excited this platform exists; I've already learned a great deal with my limited interaction with fellow investors.I am an Army Veteran living in the DFW, TX area.

There is a certain level of transparency to one's business when they post on here and interact with investors, where they frequently have to back up their policies and procedures "in writing." 

No matter if you say 3 words or 300 I'm going to take away what I want from our interaction.

Is this the typical interaction model with general contractors?

There is tons of knowledgeable people in here just keep asking questions and interacting.

I always raise the rent annually (never 20%) and while the tenants complain they get over it and I don't have to interact with them on a daily basis since they don't live upstairs.

Another way to learn is by going to local meetups and interacting with people and asking questions.
