There are lenders who will not insert the property address any longer in their pre-approval letters (I am not certain, but I believe there are some regulations that changed in the past year or so), so really there are only two options here:  1.

—Subsection (a) of section 121 is amended—(1) by striking “5-year period” and inserting “8-year period”, and(2) by striking “2 years” and inserting “5 years”.

You may be able to insert a prepayment clause with a penalty or define a set time before the note can be refinanced away in the contract.

BUT, it does appear you’re being charged to replace the chimney tile  flue and then a steel liner is being inserted because of the existing bad tile flue?
