Bats in the Chimney = Headache

My property manager contacted me yesterday to tell me that I have a colony (20-30) Brazilian/Mexican Free-Tailed Bats living in the chimney of my rental property. The house is an historic property and I'm told that they're accessing the chimney/attic via crevasses in the chimney. The roof is slate, with a steep pitch.

Basically all the circumstances are that this is going to be expensive and difficult to resolve. Anyone else dealt with something like this?

We had an attic eviction of squirrels and bats.  I don't know what type of bat.  It too was an older structure and I think that eviction was like $1200 with a 1 year guarantee which I had to use for the squirrels. It takes a long time for them to unlearn their old address... The bats just went off and did not come back.  For an adjacent larger stone building we had to recap the chimneys in metal rather then a slate cap. The fireplaces are not functional there.  For that building the bats did not currently enter,  it was strictly squirrels but they said the metal capping would be more secure  for both.  Slate caps with wire were not working.
