Quick backstory. I'm 26 yo and recently worked as a Game Warden in Florida. Medium story short, I needed a reset. I decided to leave my career there and attempt a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. After six months and 2189.1 miles, there I was standing on top of the final mountain on the trail(Profile Pic). I couldn't believe it, but then again, yes I could. The thru-hike was something I really wanted to accomplish and (insert cheesy cliché) when you really want something, no one can stop you from achieving your goal.

I'm happy to be a part of this community and Josh and Brandon have been monumental in smoothing my path into REI through their podcast. I'm still getting used to the jargon and I'm not where I want to be yet to start investing, but that's why I'm here. I've already picked up "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" because I want to be a part of the Cool Kids Club and am attending the Bigger Pockets networking event in Orlando on April 20th. If you are in the area, then I hope to see you there!
