When I am hunting for new properties, I discuss the types of properties and the general neighborhoods over dinner.  

Some neighborhoods are rough, some I'd go out for dinner in.

So they have these workers sell the brand and up sell the systems.I am talking in general and not about this specific company.If you are going to learn something find a local investor doing deals in your market and take them to lunch or dinner.

You could go out to dinner.

I visit annually and usually have lunch or dinner with my tenants and address any concerns.

Of course, that is only $50/year, but that is a free dinner at a decent restaurant AND it gets the deal done which is the most important issue here, not the money.
